THE VETTING PLAYBOOK
A relationship intelligence field manual.

BEFORE YOU
TRUST THE STORY,
VERIFY IT.

Your heart doesn't need another wall. It needs a better evidence standard.

Dating should not require blind faith.

This field guide shows you what to check, what to ask and what to watch for in the early stage, before emotional investment makes clear judgment harder.

Not so you become suspicious of everyone.

Not so you investigate someone's whole life.

So deeper access is earned by evidence, consistency and time.

I USED TO RUN THE PLAYBOOK.
NOW I EXPOSE IT.

THE PROBLEM

A CLAIM
IS NOT A FACT.

Good hearted people often give the benefit of the doubt because they assume others are operating with the same honesty they are.

That quality is beautiful. It can also be used by someone willing to fabricate an identity, mirror your values, hide a relationship or tell you exactly what you want to hear.

In the early stage, it is easy to confuse:

WHISTLEBLOWER CASE FILE

THE NAME WAS FAKE.
THE CONFIDENCE WASN'T.

CASE FILEWHAT I DIDPAGE 04

I was married. I did not want her searching my real name and finding the truth, so when she asked who I was, I gave her a name that was not mine.

She independently figured out who I was. Then she asked me a question she already knew the answer to. I lied. She said, “Okay.” And I never heard from her again.

CASE FILE · WHAT SHE DID

A convincing person can tell a lie with the same confidence an honest person tells the truth.

Confidence is not verification.

YOU DON'T ALWAYS NEED A CONFESSION.
SOMETIMES THE CONTRADICTION IS THE ANSWER.

WHAT THIS FIELD GUIDE HELPS YOU DO

SLOWER TRUST.
STRONGER BOUNDARIES. SAFER DECISIONS.

01CHECK THE STORY

Verify identity, photos and major biography claims through legitimate public sources, without crossing into surveillance.

02STOP HANDING OVER THE ANSWER KEY

Ask open questions before you share your ideal answers, so you hear their values instead of a reflection of yours.

03READ THE RESPONSE TO “NO”

Treat ordinary, real boundaries as information about how someone handles your autonomy.

04SEE PATTERNS, NOT ONE OFFS

Tell the difference between one contradiction and a repeating cluster across weeks and months.

05PROTECT YOURSELF EARLY

First date safety, keeping trusted people in the loop, and a hard stop the moment money enters the conversation.

06DECIDE WITHOUT A CONFESSION

Know when a material lie is enough information, and that you are allowed to leave without arguing.

WHAT'S INSIDE

ONE SYSTEM.
ELEVEN FILES.

CLAIM → VERIFY → CORROBORATE
→ OBSERVE → TRUST

Give deeper access only as evidence and consistency accumulate. Every file applies that system to a different part of early dating.

WHO IT IS FOR

FOR THE STAGE
BEFORE YOU'RE INVESTED.

BEFORE THE FIRST DATEEARLY DATINGBEFORE DEEPER ACCESS

NO CHECKLIST CAN CERTIFY THAT ANOTHER PERSON IS SAFE.
“I FOUND NOTHING BAD” MEANS I HAVE NOT FOUND CONTRADICTORY INFORMATION YET.

The guide uses lawful public information only. No hacking, impersonation, trackers or harassment. Vetting is about your decisions, not controlling someone else's life.

THE NEXT QUESTION

VETTING TELLS YOU
WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH.

THIS FILE ASKS:

WHO AM I
DEALING WITH?

THE NEXT FILE ASKS:

CAN WE ACTUALLY
BUILD TOGETHER?

If the person passes the vetting stage, the next question is whether the two of you are actually compatible.

A good person can still be wrong for your life.

KEEP THE HEART.
CHANGE THE STANDARD.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

Questions worth asking.

Is this about learning to distrust men?

No. The guide is not about becoming paranoid. It is about refusing to confuse a claim with a fact, chemistry with character, attention with safety, or intimate knowledge with trustworthiness.

You keep an open heart. You raise the evidence standard.

Is it ethical to look someone up?

The guide uses lawful public information and draws a clear line: do not hack accounts, impersonate people, access restricted systems, install trackers, or harass family members, employers or ex partners.

Verify what matters. Do not turn discernment into surveillance.

Can a search prove someone is safe?

No. Databases can be outdated or wrong, and a missing result does not prove deception. One result is a lead, not a verdict.

A clean search means you have not found contradictory information yet. Behavior over time still matters most.

Do I have to confront someone if I find a lie?

No. Before confronting anyone, the guide asks whether you feel safe and whether you actually need an explanation to make your decision.

You are allowed to decide that a material lie is enough information.

How is this different from the Dating Compatibility Dossier?

The Vetting Playbook asks who you are dealing with: whether the story holds up and how someone behaves around boundaries, consistency and time.

The Dating Compatibility Dossier asks whether two people can actually build a life together. Many readers use the Playbook first, then the Dossier once interest is mutual.

How do I receive it?

The Vetting Playbook is a 20 page digital PDF, delivered through Stan right after checkout. There is no physical product.

LET SOMEONE
KNOW YOU.
LET TIME REVEAL
CHARACTER.

Let their response to boundaries tell you something.

Let accountability tell you something.

Let consistency tell you something.

Someone knowing your blueprint is not the same as having the character to honor it.
